Huband killer was ‘a slave’

An elderly woman accused of clubbing her partly-paralysed husband to death was a ‘properly abused slave’, a court heard. Packiam Ramanathan, 73, is said to have killed her 76-year-old spouse Kanagusabi Ramanathan at the home they shared in Burges Road, East Ham, east London, on 21 September.
