No dock at ‘Nightingale’ court

The first ‘Nightingale’ court to open in London left one judge baffled because it did not have a dock. Prospero House, on Borough High Street, is sitting as an extension to Southwark Crown Court, near London Bridge. Ten new court centres across the country were unveiled last month to cope with the mounting backlog of criminal trials.
