Teenager accused of killing father

A 14-year-old boy accused of stabbing a married father-of-three to death outside his home was remanded in custody. Jamie Markham, 45, was killed after he confronted a group of youths shouting and swearing outside his home in Churchill Terrace, Chingford, east London. Mr Markham was treated by paramedics but was pronounced dead at the scene. A post-mortem examination later confirmed he was killed by a stab wound to the lung.
