Burglar drove off in victim’s cars while they were calling police

A career thief who carried on stealing while on bail awaiting trial has been jailed for seven years. Tristram Spencer, 35, burgled homes to take the keys to cars parked on the driveways of upmarket homes across Surrey. Two owners were on the phone to police reporting break-ins as he drove off.
