Dealer wanted machine gun to kidnap rivals

A drug dealer who tried to buy a fearsome Skorpion machine gun to protect his operation has been jailed for 12 years. Stephen Dynan, 37, was trading on cocaine from his home in Croydon, south London, using the Encrochat messaging service. When police cracked the app they found Dynan was using the handle ‘Hastybasil’ in a plot to import five kilos of top quality cocaine. He was also trying to purchase the machine gun which fires 850 rounds a minute….
