Knifeman threatened to kill Quran burner

A knifeman who threatened to kill a protester as he burnt a copy of the Quran outside the Turkish Consulate claimed he was protecting his religion, a court heard. Hamet Coskun, 50, held the flaming book aloft outside his home country’s embassy in Knightsbridge, central London on 13 February 2025.
