Harry Pitman murder trial set for next month

A teenager accused of murdering schoolboy Harry Pitman on New Year’s Eve will stand trial next month.

Areece Lloyd-Hall allegedly stabbed Harry, 16, in the neck with a hunting neck as crowds gathered on Primrose Hill in north London to watch the fireworks on 31 December 2023.

Lloyd-Hall who was 16 at the time but is now 18, denies murder.

A four week trial is set to begin on 6 October 2025.

Lloyd-Hall denies murder and appeared at the Old Bailey today (thurs) via video link from HMP Thameside for a brief pre-trial hearing.
