Sailor Teddy Young in court accused of spying for foreign power

A Royal Navy sailor accused of spying for a foreign power appeared in court today. Teddy Young, 24, was arrested at his home in Bedfordshire on Tuesday (6) and charged under the National Security Act with two offences. He is said to have obtained, copied, recorded or retained sensitive information intending to benefit a foreign power between November 2024 and May 2025.
