Cop on Wayne Couzens unit faces jail for four assaults

A Met Police officer who served in the same elite unit as David Carrick and Wayne Couzens is facing jail for  abusing a woman for two years. PC Mark Tyrrell, 57, who served in the force’s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Command, lavished the complainant with gifts and holidays between May 2021 and April 2023.
