A 30-year-old man faces an Old Bailey retrial over

A 30-year-old man faces an Old Bailey retrial over the ‘parking rage’ killing of a computer company boss.

Raymond Phillips is accused of the manslaughter of Mohammed Chaudhry, who suffered a fractured skull and later died after a row over a reserved car space in Windmill Lane, Greenford.

It is alleged Mr Phillips punched the 51-year-old to ground when his car was blocked in.

During a week long trial Phillips claimed self-defence after the victim attacked him with a piece of wood.

And the jury was discharged after they failed to reach a verdict.

The new trial is set for March 26.

Phillips, of Gardner Court, Brent Crescent, Stonebridge Park, denies manslaughter.
