A pervert who indecently assaulted a female friend

A pervert who indecently assaulted a female friend when she asked him to fit a satellite dish has been jailed for 30 months.

Ali Sabzehkooh, 43, turned up at her house but she soon realised he was too drunk to do the job.

He helped her move some furniture and take down some curtains but he could contain his lust no longer, Blackfriars Crown Court heard.

While the two of them watched TV at her Neasden home, Iranian-born Sabzehkooh grabbed her breasts and demanded sex.

‘She was making it perfectly clear that was not what she wanted and he was effectively physically assaulting her over her clothing,’ said Chris
Mitchell, prosecuting.

‘At one stage she said she thought she was going to be murdered,’ Mr Mitchell said.

The 42-year-old woman suggested they went outside as a ruse so she could escape.

And as she phoned police Sabzehkooh, then living at (17) Mitchell Court, Neasden, made off in his car.

Minutes later the woman heard a knock on the door which she assumed to be officers and opened it.

But to her horror it was Sabzehkooh returning to molest her.

‘The defendant pushed her up against the wall of the hallway, again making comments about sex to her,’ said Mr Mitchell.

Sabzehkooh slapped her face and snarled: ‘You will do it now.

Take your clothes off.

‘

She escaped and managed to lock herself in the bathroom.

She called police again who arrested him.

The attacks have left his victim so devastated that she could not hold down her job, the court heard.

Sabzehkooh was convicted by a jury of two counts of indecent assault after claiming the woman had attacked him.

But he is now said to be ‘extremely remorseful’ over his conduct on March 17, 2001.

Passing sentence Judge Alan Hitching gave him credit for his previous good character but he jailed him for two-and-a-half years.

Sabzehkooh gave his latest address as (87) Haymill Close, Greenford, Middlesex.
