A pretty brunette who was bound, beaten and indece

A pretty brunette who was bound, beaten and indecently
assaulted by three robbers in front of her husband was told:
‘Its nothing personal’ as they left her home, the Old Bailey
heard.

The professional woman, 28, said that during her terrible
ordeal she thought one of the men was about to slice off her
breasts.

The court heard she and her husband were returning from
a night out in the West End and were about to close the door of
their New Southgate home when the gang burst in.

‘I just saw faces and a gun,’ said the woman, fighting
back the tears.

‘The next thing I knew I was being struck on the head
and my handbag was being ripped from my shoulder.

‘I remember thinking: ‘Survival is important.

I have got
to be as calm as I can and I have got to co-operate.

‘
‘Throughout the whole ordeal I was constantly addressed
as ‘bitch’ very loudly and aggresively.

‘
The woman told how she was forced to take off her rings
and was then put in a headlock by one of the men and dragged
upstairs into her bedroom.

‘I pointed out my jewellery to him, He didn’t seem very
impressed.

He was saying things like: ”There must be more.

”
‘He was saying things like ”Don’t lie to me bitch.

Do you
want to be raped?”
The terrified woman was taken to another bedroom and was
made to lie on the bed.

She continued: ‘I remember being hit quite a lot.

I was
asked for the PIN number of my bank account and I gave it.

‘Then my husband was brought up to the room.

He was made
to lie beside me.

I could see he was covered in blood.

‘His breathing was very irregular.

I was concerned he
was actually dying.

‘I was tied up at this stage.

Then someone was at the
end of the bed.

I was told in a very aggressive way to turn
over.

‘Because I was tied up it wasn’t easy.

Then I could seee
three men standing there.

I was thinking: ”They’re going to rape
me.

”
‘One had two of our kitchen knives held out.

Another had
a gun.

I thought: ‘Its okay, you can survive rape.

‘The gun was held to my head.

The man seemed to squeeze
the trigger.

‘I was told to open my legs.

Someone assaulted me.

My dress
was ripped open and someone stuck their hand through.

‘The person was saying something like: ‘Do you really
need these breasts?’
‘I got the impression he was going to cut them off.

‘
The woman said that her tights were then ripped off and
she was indecently assaulted.

‘They told us we should not mention to anyone what had
happened because they knew where we lived.

‘One of them said as well that it was nothing personal,’
she told the jury.

The gang went shortly afterwards taking with them cheque
cards, jewellery and other valuables, leaving the couple to
struggle free and call the police.

The woman’s husband was later treated in hospital for cuts
he suffered during the attack.

Fortunately two police officers patrolling near the scene
saw a car speeding off from the home and noted the registration
number.

Antoine Dacosta, 23, of Hawthorn Road, Hornsey, was in
the vehicle when it was stopped five hours later.

Dacosta, the only man before the court denies robbery
on July 24 last year.

The trial continues.
