A third nurse told how Otote ‘shocked’ her by trying to chat her up on the job.
Ms C said the psychiatrist walked up to her in Queen Elizabeth II hospital without introduction and asked if she was married.
‘I said yes.
He asked whether I was happily married and I said yes.
‘Then he wanted to take my pulse and blood pressure to confirm this.
‘I was shocked and I felt my personal space had been invaded.
It was not something that I felt was right.
‘It was a persistent manner.
It was not in a joking manner.

Nurse D claimed Otote aggressively ordered her around at the nursing office in the hospital on September 5, 2000.
She added: ‘He asked me whether I could come down to the ward with him because he was going to take a patient’s blood pressure and I could give him a second opinion.
‘I could not leave the ward because I was the only trained member of staff there.
‘He was a bit aggressive.
He said: ”If you are not going to help me, I won’t help you in future.
”
‘He was insisting I come with him.

The acting clinical manager, nurse E, broke up the argument and went to see the patient with Otote.
It is claimed Otote was unable to take an accurate blood pressure reading because he could not use the equipment properly.
The case continues on Monday.
