Art teacher, 55, had five month relationship with teenage pupil

An art teacher who romped with a teenage pupil at his home while his parents were at work has been kicked out of the profession. Helen Flinders, 55, had a five month fling with the teenager between June and December 2000. A Teacher Regulation Agency (TRA) misconduct panel found Flinders ‘seriously breached the teacher pupil boundary’ after the case was referred to them in 2022.
