Asylum seeker stole 900 items from Boots

A Palestinian asylum seeker stole nearly 900 items from Boots in five months because he ‘has no other possible income’, a court heard. Al-qadi Ahmad Mugahed, 35, thieved more than £16,000 worth of goods from the high street chemist between March and August 2024.
