‘Bullied’ wife beat her disabled husband to death

An elderly woman clubbed her partly-paralysed husband to death after claiming that he abused and bullied her for years, a court heard. Packiam Ramanathan, 73, is said to have killed her 76-year-old spouse Kanagusabi Ramanathan at the home they shared in Burges Road, East Ham, east London, on 21 September.
