Businessman accused of conning entrepeneur
A crooked businessman conned a tech entrepreneur out of almost £1 million with a complicated VAT fraud, a court heard today (Thurs). Faisal Madani, 56, allegedly duped Ian Beck, founder of TEP Events International Ltd, into investing into his firm Welgele Holdings by claiming it would pay his VAT and other tax liabilities.
