Card skimming fraudster to pay back just £1

A Romanian fraudster who ran an international card ‘skimming’ scam from his garden shed will have to pay back just one pound of his £1.3 million profit. Ionel Baluta, 34, built magnetic strip readers which could be fitted to cash machines, ticket machines and petrol station pumps from New York to Vietnam.
