Carer denies trying to batter 90-year-old gran to death

  A carer accused of trying to stab and batter a 90 year-old grandmother to death denied attempted murder at the Old Bailey today (TUES). Abosede Adeyinka, 52, allegedly attacked Pamela Batten with a hammer and a kitchen knife at the victim’s home in Lilac Place in Yiewsley, west London.
