Choke hold cop risked ‘another George Floyd’ incident

A judge told a police officer he was ‘thinking back to George Floyd in America’ and told him to expect immediate jail for restraining a patient with a choke hold. PC Rajan Solanki, 28, was trying to put Shane Cogan in handcuffs when the suspect began struggling, Westminster magistrates court heard.
