Conspiracy theorist who attacked phone masts with bacon rashers believed Starmer worshipped Satan

A conspiracy theorist who torched an Indian restaurant and two cellphone masts believing that Muslims were ‘linked’ to 5G called on followers to ‘get out there and attack Islam’, a court heard.

Milo Creese, 40, is also accused of striking a police officer with a crossbow when he was being arrested for firing a ‘metal dart’ through a windowpane of a 16th-century listed cottage.

Creese, who denies arson, property damage, and assault of an officer, admitted to carrying out the acts between October and November last year but claims he was ‘insane’ at the time.

Prosecuting, Lyndon Harris said Creese made a number of tweets calling for violence against Muslims, including: ‘Guys, get out there alone or with your mates and attack Islam.’

He claimed that the country was ‘being run by the Muslim Brotherhood’ and said former prime minister Keir Starmer was ‘part of a Satanic cult’ who ‘worships Satan.’

Creese also made crude Islamophobic remarks, including: ‘Mohammed sucks c*ck in hell because he loves the smell of cum. He goes yum yum yum because he knows he has done it well.’

He believed that the towers emitted ‘5G Islamic microwaves’, saying: ‘I dont know what it is doing but it is evil, it is very LGBTQI and it is bizarre.’

Creese would later try to set the cell site ablaze on 20 November last year.

Mr Harris told jurors: ‘Mr Creese said “Run away” because it’s “going to blow up”, and moved away from the fire and out of view.

‘The fire had caused burn marks around the electrical box, that was the only one with a mast protruding from it and had the Three branding attached.’

He said the fire, described by a witness as being ‘very high and significant’, ‘did not render the site ineffective but required repairs, the cost of this was £3,000.’

Explaining the ‘debris’ from the burnt rucksack left at the site of the arson on the 5G cell phone mast, DS Daniel Spiros said police found within it some tin foil, metal ball bearings, and rashers of bacon.

Jurors at the Old Bailey heard just a day later Creese was spotted on remote CCTV trying to set fire to another 5G cell mast while ‘in possession of a crossbow.’

Footage played in court shows Creese, wearing a white beanie and holding a crossbow, loiter around the site and on a few occasions looking into the camera.

Mr Harris said: ‘Upon inspection [the fire] was assessed to have been started deliberately.

‘Damage was superficial and required clean-up, and a close protection officer was placed on the site. This cost the company £2,000.’

Creese, of Murray Road, Ottershaw, denied arson with intent to endanger life and arson being reckless as to whether life is endangered, against the Indian restaurant.

He denies two further counts of arson with intent to damage property against the 5G masts and property damage on the listed cottage.

He also denies possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
