Cop ‘accused his boss of having affair with the Chief Constable’

A senior police officer sobbed in court as she told how a former colleague wrongly accused her of having a relationship with her Chief Constable in a stalking campaign. Richard Dickson, 55, began harassing Superintendent Rachel Glendenning after she made an official complaint against him when they were working for Bedfordshire Police. He posted risqué pictures of Supt Glendenning along with ‘disparaging comments’ suggesting she started a relationship with Chief Constable Trevor Rodenhurst to get promoted, Isleworth Crown Court heard….
