Cop doctored register to cover up disappearance of Afghan pervert

  A police officer who doctored the sex offenders’ register to show that a pervert who had disappeared was still attending his appointments was spared jail today (Mon). PC Sean Fahey, 53, had no idea that the man had returned to Afghanistan and the offender could have been prowling the streets.
