A police officer told colleagues to ‘turn off their body worn cameras’ before assaulting a driver during a drugs search, a court heard. Ian Smellie, 64, allegedly took Rafik Miah round the corner and ‘clipped him on the ear’ in Kyverdale Road, Stoke Newington, north London, last 10 November.
