Cop’s career over after nightclub scrap

A police officer who assaulted a man in a fight outside a nightclub is facing the end of his career. PC Ryan Higson, 24, grappled with Harry Robinson outside Pryzm in Kingston-upon-Thames, southwest London, on 23 September last year. The officer then struck the Mr Robinson while he was on the floor before the victim staggered up and fled.
