Anjem Choudary in court ahead of June trial for membership of militant network

Radical preacher Anjem Choudary appeared in court today (mon) accused of being a member of the banned militant network Al-Muhajiroun. Choudary, 57, and Canadian national Khaled Hussain, 28, were arrested last July for membership of the proscribed organisation. The cleric was taken into custody during a dawn raid by Met Police counter terrorism detectives in east London, while Hussain was arrested at Heathrow Airport.
