Corbyn attacked on cycling trip

A plumber who spat at Jeremy Corbyn and hurled abuse at his wife Laura Alvarez has been let off with an 18-month community order. Gerald Dore, 56, abused the former Labour Party leader as he cycled near his home in Berriman Road, Islington, with Ms Alvarez on May 20 last year.
