Council payment boss ‘swindled £70,000’

A payment authoriser at a Labour council allegedly swindled more than £70,000 meant for disabled people, a court heard. Juniper Daumier, 40, is accused of defrauding Brent Council by taking money meant for agencies who provided carers for the vulnerable and sick.
