Vulnerable Jamie Gilbey was ‘dismembered in another hostel resident’s room’

A vulnerable man was murdered, dismembered and dumped in the woods by another resident at a homeless hostel, a court heard. Jamie Gilbey, 20, was killed in a ‘brutal, sustained and particularly disturbing attack’ by Dajour Jones, 27, at Fitze Millennium Centre, Upper Norwood, on 27 January 2022.
