Drinker who headbutted cop walks free

A thug who punched a bar manager in the face and headbutted a police officer in a drunken rage was spared jail. Michael Lane, 26, was asked to leave by Jorge Marquez after upsetting guests at the upmarket Sindercombe Social in Shepherd’s Bush Green, west London, on 26 February.
