‘Dubai? Yes, a second class stamp will do that’

An Arab businessman accused of blackmailing a rival for one million dollars (£779,000) may not know about the case because the summons was sent to Dubai with a second class stamp, a court heard. Mohammed Khatami is said to have made cash demands from the alleged victim who is known only as ‘Mr X.’ Khatami, who lives in the United Arab Emirates, allegedly tried to extort the money from Mr X by threatening to reveal details of his private life….
