Ex cop accused of serious assault on teenager dies aged 46

A 46-year-old former Met Police officer accused of a serious assault on teenage girl more than 13 years ago has died, a court heard. Davey Campbell, who was based within the Frontline Policing command and was off-duty at the time of the alleged offence in north London on 1 May 2011.
