Ex GCHQ worker admits trying to murder American spy

A former GCHQ worker has admitted trying to murder an American spy as the victim left a leisure centre after a netball game. Joshua Bowles, 29, stabbed the woman in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire on 9 March after carrying out reconnaissance for a month. He then punched Alex Fuentes repeatedly when he tried to intervene.
