A finance worker who moonlighted as an NHS 111 operator while claiming £5,500 in sick pay was spared jail today (TUES). Balbinder Mahil, 45, spent eight months with the non-emergency health advice service after telling Capital One she was suffering from stress. She received a total of £5,548 in insurance payments from the credit card company before the scam was exposed in April last year.
