Gem heist trial halted by judge

The jury trying Hatton Garden burglar Terry Perkins for a £1 million gem heist on an exclusive jewellers was discharged today (Fri) for legal reasons. The 68-year-old is charged with burgling Chatila’s flagship store in London’s Mayfair five years before raiders drilled into the vault at the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit Ltd over the 2015 Easter bank holiday weekend.
