Hospital has no idea how patient got overdose drugs

A ‘wonderful’ teacher hospitalised with a severe eating disorder told her mental health worker ‘see you tomorrow’ the day before she overdosed, an inquest heard. Rebecca Hursey, 39, was convinced if she ate she was nourishing the evil which dwelt inside her. She consumed ground glass, aspirin, flour and oil to avoid feeding the spirit before she died on May 4 last year.
