A hospital worker who stole addictive painkillers while on duty and faked patient records to cover up his crime has been struck off. Mark Matthews pocketed 40 ampoules of Tramadol during his shifts as an operating department practitioner at Gatwick Park Hospital in Horley, Surrey.
