Husband granted inquest into key worker’s Covid death

The husband of an NHS worker who died from coronavirus has won his battle to get a full inquest into her death after his wife was forced to work with recycled face masks. Hospital healthcare assistant Susan Ward, 61, tended to patients on a Covid ward without personal protective equipment, an inquest heard.
