‘I stabbed my dad to death’

A son has admitted stabbing his father to death. Sean Maurice, 31, repeatedly knifed dad Paul Maurice, 51, at their address Widmore Road, Bromley, southeast London on 14 September. He admitted manslaughter at the Old Bailey today (fri) but denied murder. His murder trial will begin at the Old Bailey on 9 January. Mr Maurice was found by police with multiple stab wounds and died from his injuries. Prosecutor Bill Emlyn-Jones earlier said: ‘Paul Maurice was found stabbed 22 times….
