‘I was using knife to fix my moped’

A knifeman has been spared jail after claiming he only used the blade to fix his moped. Tarik El Mzouri, 18, was caught carrying a green Gerber pocket knife outside Sainsbury’s in Ladbroke Grove, west London on Wednesday (13). The teenager told officers he used the weapon as a tool for moped repairs and declined legal representation.
