Inmates ‘tried to murder prison officer with shank’

Two inmates tried to murder a prison officer while armed with three weapons including a ‘shank’ and wearing improvised suicide vests, a court heard. Brusthom Ziamani, 24, and Baz Hockton, 26, allegedly attacked prison officer Neil Trundle at maximum security Whitemoor Prison, Cambridgeshire.
