Islamic preacher Anjem Choudary ‘headed terrorist organisation’

Radical Islamic preacher Anjem Choudary directed the terrorist organisation Al-Muhajiroun and used his lectures to advance his ‘warped and twisted’ ideology, a court heard. Anjem Choudary, 57, allegedly took a ‘caretaker’ role with the banned militant network in 2014 while the spiritual leader was in prison in the Lebanon.
