‘It a joke,’ says burglar

A woman who tried to break into a house as a mother cowered behind the other side of the front door is behind bars. Lisa-Marie Eastwood, 20, attempted to burgle a property in Cowper Road, Ealing, on 4 July last year while the terrified mum was inside with her young child. Eastwood admitted attempted burglary at Isleworth Crown Court but Judge Robin Johnson adjourned sentence to establish whether there were other matters to be taken into account.
