Jail for the Wetherspoons drinker who hit barmaid with a chair

A drinker who knocked a Wetherspoons barmaid unconscious after hurling a chair at her after he had been thrown out the pub has been jailed for six years. Martin Kelly, 47, caused permanent scarring to Lisa Steedman when he went berserk at the Spouter’s Corner pub in Wood Green, Haringey on 8 May last year.
