Judge’s Covid ends trial of Qatari media boss

A Qatari media boss accused of repeatedly beating and raping a woman is facing a retrial after the judge caught Covid. Saleh Al-Mesallam (corr), 32, allegedly kicked and stamped on the victim in a series of attacks at the luxury Peninsula Apartments complex in Paddington, west London.
