Junkie who stole her mum’s life savings let off by judge

A woman who wiped out her mother’s funeral savings to fund her drug habit was given a chance by a judge to turn her life around. Jennifer McVicar, 34, raided her disabled mother Sandra McVicar’s bank account of £4,990 between 2 May and 7 June this year.
