A fraudster who convinced banks around the world to pour more than a billion pounds into a global business empire based in an Indian cowshed has been jailed another five years. Virendra Rastogi, 54, set up a network of sham companies whose registered office turned out to be a crumbling cattle shelter. Another office in the US turned out to be a local laundrette.
