Landlord killer ‘could be unfit to stand trial’

A tenant accused of murdering his landlords during lockdown has been remanded in custody. Daniel Briceno-Garcia, 44, allegedly knifed Sonia Calvi, 56, and Edgar Daza, 59, to death at their flat in Stockwell, southwest London on 1 April. Briceno-Garcia appeared in the dock aided by a Spanish interpreter.
