Let-off for man caught with weapons after he claimed they were memorabilia

A carer caught with a small arsenal of weapons in his home including two stun guns has escaped with a suspended sentence after he claimed they were ‘memorabilia.’ Sonny O’Connor, 26, claimed it had been his  ‘hobby’ to collect weapons since the age of 16 which he started doing with his grandad, she said.
