A spurned lover who beat his ex-girlfriend to death with a claw hammer has been jailed for at least 22 years. Polish Wojciech Tadewicz, 26, murdered mother-of-two Sandra Zmijan the day before her 33rd birthday and slit his wrists in a suicide bid to make police believe he was mourning.
